Liar

Lie?

I found out on Wikipedia that there are at least 28 types. Some good, some bad, some are necessarily evil, lies come in all shapes and sizes. Some affect your conscience and others affect the outcome of a situation.

Sometimes you cannot make do without a lie, ask generals of an army how deception is important, and then there are innocuous lies a mother tells about monsters just to make sure a baby quickly goes to sleep. Lies could be hurtful as well, as a lover who has been lied to, you will get a full dose of that. And then again there are noble lies in advertisements which make you feel better and forget about the problems.

Liars are everywhere, in fact almost all of us lie, at one point or another. Some do more than others, some fabricate their entire lives, others just enough to not let out the truth. Some lie to save others while others lie to save themselves. Depending upon the conscience of the liar and the lied to, the consequences of the lie is determined. Sometimes the most innocent lie backfires and causes major disputes, and then there are some bland lies which forges alliances among belligerents in seemingly impossible scenes.

It has been a part of humanity ever since our conception, ever since we tricked predators into seeming weak and springing them into prehistoric traps of tar. Not just humans, a good number of animals lie as well, quite justifying the necessity of a lie. But we humans lie far often than not than our animal friends, so much that it seems like that natural evolution has triggered this mechanism to ensure our complexity and

Although most of us belong to some faith (No offense to atheists, they can justify themselves upon their morality) which say in unison that we should not lie, yet the history has been full of liars, even the most religious zealots have lied at one point or another, and i do not question that. History and religion have been quick to deem them wrong and faithless and as a general rule, has decreed that lying is a sin. But yet i believe that the intent, conscience and context matter the most, if it is a matter of survival, lying might be an absolute necessity, but then if the ones survival causes unsettling of others, that lie is wrong and unjustified.

Sadly in this world, its easy to loose the line of distinction among the survival of one and the unsettling of others, as so much is entwined among individuals, that one lie not affecting anyone ever is almost next to impossible.

Most faiths have devices around this paradox, they came up with confessions (Not just the catholic notion, but the concept in its entirety). Generally confession is seen as the act of "Sacrament through penance". Confession to a priest, a deity, an altar and what not, a way to get acquitted for all the non ethical doing and violation. And i am not against the concept, as long as it is associated with a conscience and penance, but more often than not, it turns out to be an act of cowardice, not able to stand the consequences of the lies and trying to get away with an anonymous act done under the shroud of a veil. Why so? Because we are too human to judge the cost of a lie, we see world through a narrow point of oneself and to estimate the cost of a lie would require omniscience only god could offer.

The most important concept about a lie and its consequence is the stark realisation of the gravity of the act. A single lie can be the undoing a lifetime of truth and conversely sometimes a single truth can be the atonement for a life of lies. I don't know whether we are judged for our acts after a life or if there is something called afterlife at all, yet i believe at least our deeds affect this world we live in, in ways beyond our comprehension.

In the end it is all narrowed down to the concept of being right or wrong to yourself, and the world that surrounds you, its just a matter of point of view. I do not know whether to judge it or not, what to follow and what not to, i am a confused human being who knows his limitations of comprehension of how this world works, who is scientist and analytic in understanding this world and yet has faith in concept of god.

I know i am a liar, but question is, am i wrong? I leave the judgement upon the god and his instruments ( the world around me).

~People do bad things in their lives. And those sort of things are forgivable. That's half the point of having confession - you need to be able to fess up to what you've done.~

The Minstrel Boy

The romance of bravery, patriotism and sacrifice forever immortalized in this poem, this song has been a motivation for me ever since i was 12 years old when i read it first. Just feel the words, imagine the pride of a young warrior who defiantly fought against overwhelming odds and even though he never came back from the fight, he brought his kinsmen a morale which finally brought victory and peace.

The minstrel boy to the war is gone,
In the ranks of death you'll find him,
His father's sword he has girded on,
And his wild harp slung behind him,
"Land of Song!" said the warrior bard,
"Though all the world betrays thee,
One sword, at least, thy rights shall guard,
One faithful harp shall praise thee!"

The Minstrel fell! But the foeman's chain,

Could not bring his proud soul under,
The harp he loved ne'er spoke again,
For he tore its chords asunder,
And said "No chains shall sully thee,
Thou soul of love and bravery!
Thy songs were made for the pure and free
They shall never sound in slavery!"

Life is a gift

Today before you think of saying an unkind word -Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food -Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your friend -Think of someone who's crying out to God for a companion.

Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn't clean or sweep -Think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive - Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job -Think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job.

But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another -Remember that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one maker.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down -Put a smile on your face and Thank God you're alive and still around.

~Life is a gift, Live it, Enjoy it, Celebrate it and fulfill it.~

An Uneasy Silence

The storm is past, all the dust has settled down, a strange silence shrouds everything around me, a silence which unsettles me, i could hear my heart beating down under. I am not used to silence, put me in storms and i'll survive, for i have lived through hailstorms of fire and metal, prayed, pained and scarred yet very much alive. Your mind does not allow you to think upon wounds you sustain while in such tempests, you are automated, your responses hardwired from your instincts and your adrenaline. And yet when the rush is gone, that moment when your mind takes over, all that unbearable withdrawal, when every wound screams out in agony. Matters not if healed long back or not, they are fresh in mind. Deep down i am scared of what comes afterwards, an overwhelming feeling of surviving through, all those regretful moments when you could have tried to help your comrades and when you were trying to stay alive. All those moments when you part ways with your companions and become strangers again. That bond which you make in those trying times are hard to break, but somewhere you know it won't last and so you suppress yourself and try to appear rash and tough. All because you know you don't want to get attached to those who won't last. But all this passivity can't help. I just wish it rains and gives my ears to listen to something. Silence kills me...

Faithless

Been a while that i posted anything, been distracted and drawn into millions of things, which have yet been insignificant to the ultimate goal of my life.

I am constantly worried about "what if what i have been doing is worthless?". This question, this constant evaluation is so drawing that i tend to forget that i have been constantly ignoring how i have been doing.

I often preach about how journey is more important than destination, and yet in the end even i am worried about the end. Not that it matters though, its just been the starting and things can always change. And change they will.

Sometimes i wonder which way i am leading myself into, but then again, there is this realization than i am here just to follow instructions of a higher entity, and so i do... Follow the path lead by the guiding light, and you will find salvation... I hope my faith is true...

HAPPINESS

I sometimes wonder we try to find out logic in everything we do. Sometimes we are so worn out of life that we curse the way things are presently poised. And we are so sure that things will never be the way we want them to be just because there is no logic behind thinking that way. We know that uur dreams will never be fulfilled because there is no visible path leading to them.
The other day I was conversing with a very close friend of mine. I had an argument that the most important thing to human life is the happiness. My friend was so unconvinced of my views that she ended the conversation by declaring that I don't have enough experience in my life to know about the harsh realities where you have to compromise and it is very difficult to attain the happiness.
Frankly speaking it is this attitude of ours that hurts me the most. We run behind stupid things in life. I have a way of calling them as 'greed'. So obsessed we become of these stupid pleasures that we forget to pursue the things that really make us happy. We , in our heart, know that we can't achieve those stupid things so cover our sense of loss by adopting a negative outlook to life. We start telling the world and ourselves that there is something gravely wrong with the world itself. We let those negative feelings, that negative outlook to surround us and eat us away. It is at that very moment that we become true losers.
Instead what we can do is to always follow our heart. If we start doing things that really make us happy we wil never have to adopt a negative outlook in life. This world shows you hundred ways to satisfy your ego but only one way to satisfy your own self. If we manage to traverse that path we become winners in true sense.Because traversing this path means that we desired victory for ourselves and didn't desire defeat for anybody else and this is victory in true sense. So I still feel that no matter what our happiness is our sole responsibility and we are solely responsible for our happiness or sadness. I wish that my concerned friend follows her heart and always remains happy in her life.

Share your happiness with everyone....

Share your Happiness with everyone around.....make every face have a smile......and when everyone has a smile.....there is no chance you can ever get sad.....cause every smiling face would be sharing a share with you.....so it's blessing to share joys!!

Take it like this story says!!

There was a farmer who grew superior quality, award-winning corn in his farm. Each year, he entered his corn in the state fair where it won honors and prizes. One year a newspaper reporter interviewed him and learned something interesting about how he grew his corn. The reporter discovered that the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbours. 'How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbours when they are entering corn in the competition with yours each year?' The reporter asked. 'Why brother ? ' The farmer replied, 'Didn't you know? The wind picks up pollen grains from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbours grow inferior, sub-standard and poor quality corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn. If I have to grow good corn, I must help my neighbours to grow good corns too.' The farmer gave a superb insight into the connectedness of life. His corn cannot improve unless his neighbours' corn also improves. So it is in the other dimensions and areas of life ! Those who choose to be in harmony must help their neighbours and colleagues to be at peace. Those who choose to live well must help others live well too. The value of a life is measured by the lives it touches.... Success does not happen in isolation; it is most often a participatory and collective process. So share your time, wealth, principles, ideas and new knowledge with your family, friends, team members and neighbours and all. As they say: 'Success breeds Success.'

He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep, to gain what he cannot lose...Remember God's Holy words......Loving your neighbour, helping them when they need, is following the holy way....

and considering everyone your beloved neighbour is what thy holy words taught us.....so be a good human......love everyone and you will be loved by god!!...

Care and Affection is called Love

A Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge. The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter,"Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river."The little girl said, "No, Dad. You hold my hand.""What's the difference?" Asked the puzzled father.."There's a big difference," replied the little girl. "If I hold your hand and something happens to me,chances are that I may let your hand go.But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go." In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in its bond. So hold the hand of the person who loves you rather than expecting them to hold yours... This message is too short......but carries a lot of Feelings....try to feel it.....then only you will get it!!!

Just stand in the Rain.....you won't drown!!

This song is awsome......just listen to it and its supercool!!!
When i feel losted....i just listen to this song......its just awsome......

She never slows down.
She doesn't know why but she knows that when she's all alone,
feels like its all coming down.
She won't turn around.
The shadows are long and she fears if she cries that first tear,
the tears will not stop raining down.

So stand in the rain
Stand your ground
Stand up when it's all crashing down
You stand through the pain
You won't drown
And one day, whats lost can be found
You stand in the rain

She won't make a sound,
Alone in this fight with herself and the fears
whispering if she stands she'll fall down

She wants to be found
The only way out is through everything
She's running from wants to give up and lie down.

So stand in the rain
Stand your ground
Stand up when it's all crashing down
You stand through the pain
You won't drown
And one day, whats lost can be found
You stand in the rain

So stand in the rain
Stand your ground
Stand up when it's all crashing down
Stand through the pain
You won't drown
And one day, whats lost can be found

So stand in the rain
Stand your ground
Stand up when it's all crashing down
You stand through the pain
You won't drown
And one day, whats lost can be found
You stand in the rain

We are precious.....cause we are his own creation...

It was a regular day at college...infact it was after exam, so my mind was a little bit weary from last night's hectic study schedule. We were having a good conversation while sitting in the lawn of the college....my two friends...Prateek and Uphar...two people whom i can really share what i feel and what i think...and also because they are those who find interest in my so called senseless talk.....

Perhaps it was some heavenly influence that they agreed to listen to my theory about Unification of energy strings...well....i am not going to discuss that here....for those people who are interested to know what that is.....thats purely scientific explanation of this universe and possibly countless universes that exist.....

for that...we will have some other time....but while at the crux of the discussion....when i finally got both of my friends involved into thinking their way to explain the existence of us....

it was a surprising answer which i got from them.....though that was perfectly what i already sought out before.....though absent mindedly.....

The question was that there are so many dimensions.....so many orientations.....so many perfect combinations where life and intelligence can begin.....then why only we are here???
the answer was....though most obvious.....that because we are special....it was 4:30 PM

How???...see it this way......i've been a supporter of String theory.....commonly known as theory of everything....or the super unification theory....and for past three years....i've been thinking a lot.....only one question often raised.....why out of countless combinations possible in the vibrations of energy strings that shape this world and all the matter around us........only a few exist.....even if others are also perfectly stable.......??

returning back to 4:30 PM......we were all thinking the same...."WHAT?? WE ARE SPECIAL???...WHAT A RIDICULOUS ANSWER??....but fortunately we were thinking the way god himself wanted us to think...."....

what was that??.....that was making us think so??....just consider.....i am no scientist.....nor a preacher.....i am only a boy with a lot of troubles and even more questions???.....my days used to begin with "why day???.....why not night when we might have to wake up??"......and end with....."why night??.....why not day when we might have to go to rest??"....

and be true.....most of us are like this.....a lot of questions??.....and a lot more anxieties for the answers......

But when more than one come to the same inferrence independently.....there has to be some point.....and there was our!!!

back to around 4:30 PM...
we were almost dazed....what we found was incomprehensible....even by the worst standards of science......i absentmindedly just said that we are special.....how ridiculous....there has to be a reason.....

and then came to my mind....that perhaps there might be an explaination.....as per GODEL's FAMOUS RELATION that no mathematical explaination is correct in all set of axioms......

for those who are not mathmongers......its simply....
"NO MATHEMATICAL FORMULA IS CORRECT......ATLEAST FOR ALL RESULTS!!"....now don't go fighting with your teachers for your wrong answers in exams.......

there is an uncertainity.....in whatever happens....
and as we say in maths...every thing we see can be expressed in mathematical relations.....so there is a perfect possiblity that what we try to explain is totally wrong for a supposed to be correct set of situations......

and this is where we say.....GOD KNOWS WHY THE HELL IT HAPPENS??.....BUT SURE IT DOES.....perhaps absentmindedly we all find the correct answer to it....

It is god himself......no offense for feminism.....it might be herself or so......

Think it like this.....like Newton.....we all see the answer but fail to notice....
which makes Newton a scientist....and us normal sheepish crowd who just complain about every small problem....

coming back....perhaps we all know the perfect answer.....why out of million and millions and milllions of combinations of string frequencies and amplitude and spins.....only few existed to make quarks and other compound spin particles........which in turn make the electrons, protons neutrons and other quanta......which turn into atoms, molecules.....and finally somehow into life and us!!! what's the reason for it???

.....its the uncertainity which we can neither comprehend......nor we can even understand.....

its all because of GOD himself.....because its his own divine way to make us.....its because he had a will to create us.......

By 5:00 PM.....we were almost too amazed and were almost lost in thinking.....yes.....perhaps if we think and we give in to god himself.....thinking ourselves as his perfect instruments for making his creations....shaping them into the shapes we wanted.....
Its actually us fullfilling his work.....as being his specially created instrument.....very precious and very unique.......

we soon returned to our senses....and decided to remove the basic set of instructions in our mindset......that every thing is explainable....with the set that.....we can explain just a small set of
situations.....out of a set of countless possibilities of situations!!.....and we found out that all those things that can not be explained by our general relativities are perfectly possible given the countless entangled volumes existing in 26 interwined dimensions......

then we came to know.....we are just here because god wanted us to be here......in the way we are......with our lives being a unique combination of combinations of million and million probabilities......

It was a new zeal.....for all of us.....a new way of looking at life......a new outlook.....which changed us a lot......atleast me......now because i know.....i am so beloved to god that he created me uniquely.......with a purpose......so i gave in to god......that whenever i feel lost.....now i feel that my begining and end has been decided the moment god made this universes fundamental rules.....all just for me.....and not for only me.....but for all his divine creations......all of us.....everything around us........

perhaps i will keep studying string theory in a quest to understand this universe a little more......but inside i know......when i will feel that i can not now any more of it....i will still be contempt........because i know that i know the ultimate answer.......

that it's god who made all of us and every single particle which has uncertainity around it.....which is omnipresent.....is having god in it.....and i am myself made up of countless such particles.......so i know that in some manner......god is in me.....and i follow his own decided path.....created just for me........intersecting countless other paths....all deviced by him only.....for his countless precious creations......

so now whenever i wake up in morning......i don't question myself while rubbing my bleary eyes.....that "why morning???...and why not night??..".............
instead......now i often wake up with a smile.....that "Thank you god!..cause you made this beautiful morning with a beautiful sun......and not a night with a rising sun......just for me....!!"

see.....how unique......how precious we are.....we all are precious gifts to this world......try to share this feeling......consider your role in his divine theatre.....and you will find how beautiful is this world.....made just for you!!......try to make it the same way for those who don't realize it......being too busy to shake away the cobwebs of the life around them.......

Try to be the most innocent to yourself.....and you will be innocent before the god in you......and all what you do will rightfully fullfill its purpose decided by god himself.......

Peace on us......

Kindness is a blessing....spread it with hands wide open!!

One good day it happened so similar that i decided to quote this story!!!!

One day a young man was walking along an isolated road when he heard something like a crying sound. He couldn't tell for sure what the sound was but it seemed to be coming from underneath a bridge. As he approached the bridge, the sound got louder and then he saw a pathetic sight. There, lying in the muddy river bed, was a puppy about two months old. It had a gash on its head and was covered with mud. Its front legs were swollen where they had been tightly bound with cords. The young man was immediately moved with compassion and wanted to help the dog, but as he approached, the crying stopped and the dog snarled his lip and started to growl. But the young man did not give up. He sat down and started gently talking to the dog. It took a long time but eventually the dog stopped growling and the man was able to inch forward and eventually touch the dog and begin unwrapping the tightly bound cord. The young man carried the dog home, cared for its wounds, gave it food and water and a warm bed. Even with all of this, the dog continued to snarl and growl every time the young man approached. But the young man did not give up. Weeks went by and the man continued caring for the puppy. Then one day, as the young man approached, the dog wagged its tail. Consistent love and kindness had won and a lifelong friendship of loyalty and trust began.

" Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we shall reap a harvest if we do not give up. "

This is the way of living!!!

One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down. It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers. That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual. On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. "Really?" she heard whispered. "I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!" and, "I didn't know others liked me so much," were most of the comments. No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on. Several years later, one of the students was killed in Vietnam and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature. The church was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin. As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her. "Were you Mark's math teacher?" he asked. She nodded: "yes." Then he said: "Mark talked about you a lot." After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher. "We want to show you something," his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket. "They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it." Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times. The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him. "Thank you so much for doing that," Mark's mother said. "As you can see, Mark treasured it." All of Mark's former class mates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, "I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home." Chuck's wife said, "Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album.""I have mine too," Marilyn said. "It's in my diary." Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group. "I carry this with me at all times, " Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: "I think we all saved our lists." That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark and for all his friends who would never see him again.

THE PURPOSE

Seems like i've started to realize my purpose here......

it is quite unrealistic.....but might be true.....we all are just human....so busy in our small lives that we often forget our true purpose.....to spread joy and happiness.....in the lives that we get....

we must all be greatful to god that he blessed us with such a beautiful gift called life....and shared with us this ultimate world....
but as we are......we never value what we have got with us.....and often long for what we can't be.......it does'nt means that we must end our quest and settle down to be proud of what we have.......no.....that's just not the human nature........but simply i want to say....
we must value what we've been blessed with and regard it properly before claiming for more and better......

perhaps some day we'll realize what we are doing with our gift.....the song "WHAT I'VE DONE".....expresses it quite well......

i just want all of us to realize it.....and want us to be the most proud and righteous hiers of the gift of god......THE GIFT OF LIFE ITSELF!!!!

The Small Measure of Peace & Happiness

i don't know why i am writing this.....but yes....i really think that i need to..

most of the people around us seem to be made of rock.....so i say

We are here to make a better world. No amount of rationalization or blaming can preempt the moment of choice each of us brings to our situation here on this planet. The lesson is that people who cared enough to do right could change history. The big battles that we won cannot be reversed. We are young, self-righteous, reckless, hypocritical, brave, silly, headstrong and scared half to death. And we are right. ....
